Coming from a decent upper middle-class family, Vikram Saxena meets with gorgeous Seema Singh, and both fall in love. But their respective families have other plans for them. While Vikram is able to convince his advocate dad, Shyam Sunder, to change his mind, Seema is unable to do so, and her marriage is being planned with a U.S. resident. Somna lives a poor lifestyle with her widowed mom, Leela, in the mountainous region of India and Nepal. She makes a living working on the apple farm of wealthy widower, Kailash Nath Kaushal, who also runs a mountaineering school, and has Amar Kumar as one of his students. Somna and Amar meet, fall in love, decide to get married with Amar's parents' and Leela's approval, with the marriage to take place shortly after Amar returns from a climbing expedition. A few days later, following an avalanche, they get the news that Amar and the other climbers have been killed. Then the towns folks start linking her with Prakash, leading to rumors being spread about their intimacy, finally resulting in Prakash proposing to her and both getting married. This settled, the two hope that life will continue and wounds will heal. But Raja expects his dad to return home, starts hating Prakash - so much so he harbors thoughts of killing him. And then one day Raja gets hold of a gun - and this time he will make sure that he kills Prakash - who he blames for his parents' separation.
